Bid's Enter the amount of the bid equal to or greater than the initial bid, or greater than the current bid. At this point, if you do not have a credit card in your file, you will be prompted to add it to secure your bid. Your card will be validated for one euro but will not be charged. You will receive a confirmation email once you place your bid.

Total Calculator of CostsPrior to bidding, bidders may use the Total Cost Calculator on the individual artwork page to calculate the Buyer's Premium, Tax, and Shipping & Managing Costs that apply to the lot.

Maximum BiddingYou can place a maximum bid by entering an amount higher than the minimum bid increase. This value is only visible to you. Your bid will only increase as much as is necessary—but not more than your maximum bid amount—to maintain your position as the highest bidder.

Live Auction Follow Internet BiddingOn live day Auctions ,the leading online bid will be forwarded to the live auction and enacted by the auctioneer. If you're not the top bidder for a lot, you'll be notified and have a chance to increase your bid during a live event.

CheckoutCongratulations, you've won! The card that you used to bid is not automatically charged. You will receive an invoice and you must follow the checkout steps indicated in order to complete your purchase. Payment should be received within 7 days of the purchase of your item.

Premium BuyerPremium Buyer Winners are charged a Buyer's Premium on top of the hammer price. This will be noted in the field of the bid and in the email of the checkout. During BIDUM's Benefit Auctions, the winners are not charged to the Buyer's Premium.

TaxesAll sales with final delivery address in the EU shall be subject to VAT. For certain international purchases, the terms of sale are duty-free but may be subject to additional duties, taxes, VAT or administrative charges. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to pay all customs charges or additional tariffs due to the appropriate entity or third party facilitating the shipment.

Shipping & HandlingIn the case of curated auctions, BIDUM charges shipping charges under a flat-rate system based on the value of the work, origin, irrespective of the destination within the EU.
